HILLS SEE MONEY FOR RAFA TO LEAVE

RAFA BENITEZ has been the subject of a gamble concentrated in the Kent and Bristol areas to be the first Premiership manager to leave his club this season - with William Hill slashing his odds from 20/1 to 11/2 third favourite.

"We have seen a string of punters asking for bets of up to £300 a time for Benitez to be the first boss to go" said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

"I’m not sure whether Rafa has friends or family in Bristol and, or, Kent, but you can’t take chances in markets like this. We have cut his odds several times but are still seeing interest even at 11/2."

Hills offer 2/5 that Benitez will still be Liverpool boss on the last day of the season and 7/4 that he will not.

William Hill: First Prem boss to go: 11/4 Phil Brown; 9/2 Paul Hart; 11/2 Benitez; 6/1 McLeish; 15/2 Zola; 8 Hughes; 12 Megson; 20 Martinez.
