BACK STEVIE TO BE A THRILLER AGAINST VILLA

SOME players just like playing against certain clubs.

For Ian Rush it was Everton (25 goals), for Steven Gerrard, it's Aston Villa.

The Reds skipper has burst the net 10 times against the Brummies, his highest tally against any club.

And who can forget his hat-trick last season at Anfield as we ran out 5-0 winners.

Gerrard is 11-2 with Paddy Power to be the first goalscorer tonight - and 13-8 to score at any time during the game.

And as Gerrard favours banging them in from all angles, a punt on him to score from outside the box could also be worth a poke - 11-2 with Ladbrokes.

1 comment:

  1. And just to emphasise the point, Paddy Power was briefly offering double the odds on Gerrard being first goalscorer via the official LFC site - that market has now been suspended!
